POSITION SUMMARY

The ABA Scheduler collaborates closely with the Clinical team to coordinate staffing and scheduling of ABA services throughout a geographical area, ensuring clients and families are served per needs and contract requirements.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Familiarity with geographical areas throughout Southern California

Knowledge and experience with scheduling software (Rethink) to manage client and staff schedules

Understanding of nuances between various shifts and hours of operations

Identify staffing needs and support recruiting of new positions needed

Manage and coordinate cancellations of staff/client appointments

Maintain staff and client schedules of availability

Communicate scheduling and staffing information to clients and staff

Assist with preparing client and staff schedules per contract and hiring needs on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis, as needed

Knowledge of funding source and insurance contracts

Data entry of insurance codes and accurately track client and staff schedules accordingly

Provide additional Scheduling duties as needed

WORK HOURS/DAYS

The work hours and days for the position are based on Scheduling need. Each employee will work within their desired number of hours per week.

· Full-Time

· Monday – Friday 10:00am – 7:00pm (flexible)

· Some Weekends as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or related field preferred, but not required

2+ years’ experience in a Scheduler’s role or assist in such capacity

Must pass a criminal background check (FBI/DOJ clearance)
