Academic Administrator / Senior Academic Administrator
The Academic Administrator provides organizational and operational support for the effective delivery of undergraduate degree programmes. Depending on qualifications and experience, successful candidates may be appointed at either the Academic Administrator or Senior Academic Administrator level.
Role Profile
- Coordinate and manage academic activities relating to timetabling, module delivery, examinations, and the release of results.
- Serve as the primary liaison between students and academic staff to facilitate the smooth delivery of undergraduate programmes.
- Organize and deliver high-quality student support services, ensuring a positive student experience.
- Compile reports and accurately maintain and update academic records and related documentation.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner universities and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and academic regulations.
- Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes and contribute to the efficient operation of academic programmes.
Person Profile
- A bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- A master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage, particularly for senior-level appointments.
- Academic Administrator: 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or higher education environment.
- Senior Academic Administrator: 3–4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, office automation systems, and standard office equipment.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, public relations, and telephone etiquette skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
