SUMMARY
Supports various organizations within a high-tech capital equipment design and manufacturing company. Responsibilities include supporting Accounting Operations and general administration activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Controller to assist the other business units and department managers to support overall business unit, department, and company goals and objectives, including developing tools and reports to monitor overall health of business
Perform routine AR and AP processing, including managing and following up on outstanding invoices
Track and manage expense reimbursements, office supplies, utility invoices and other similar duties
Manage the accurate collection of production labor hours for performance analysis payroll processing
Manage NDAs and other customer and supplier contracts
Printing and release manufacturing jobs and inventory audit checklists.
Initiating and organizing customer project electronic folders.
Scheduling visitor meetings, greeting guests and answering main phone.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Value building meaningful, long-standing relationships
Basic G/L accounting or inventory knowledge within a manufacturing environment a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform to complex requirements
Strong computer skills, including ERP and Microsoft Office products
Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening
Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving ability
Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and off-shift hours to support company requirements as needed
EDUCATION
Highschool Diploma
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
EXPERIENCE
1 -2 years of Accounting experience ideal
Accounts Receivables and Account Payable processing and collections a plus
Prior bookkeeping experience a plus
Experience with Global Shop ERP system a plus

The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
