Parks Foundation is seeking a part-time Accounting Administrator to complete accounting entries and provide general administrative support to the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process deposits and accounts receivable using accounting software systems (Sage)

Update and maintain donor and constituent information within donation management software (eTapestry)

Reconcile, review, and update financial accounts to ensure accuracy

Organize and complete filing of accounting and program-related records

Provide general administrative support as required

Qualifications and

Experience:

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Administration, or a related field

Previous office experience, ideally in an accounting or administrative role

Experience with accounting software (preferred)

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Demonstrated attention to detail and mathematical abilities

Proficient in administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and other office duties

Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Location and

Work Hours:

This role will be 2 days per week, within our regular office hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This role will primarily operate from our office at 225 13 Avenue SW. Flexibility in hours and occasional weekend/evening work may be required based on project needs.
