Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled bookkeeper to join the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center. This financial professional will work closely with the Executive Director and Program Director. They will record and maintain the business’s financial transactions, while also partaking in a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization and making a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records and grant reports.
Document donations, purchases, payments, and receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage payroll
Manage clerical responsibilities to support office and event center operations.
Assist the Executive and Program Director in daily administrative functions.
Uphold confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information.
Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and maintain accurate typing.
Exhibit a compassionate and child-centric approach in all interactions and tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in bookkeeping.
Ability to multitask and continue to pay attention to detail.
Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in computer skills and accurate typing.
Experience in QuickBooks and Nonprofit Grant Funding.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
