Role:

Accounts Assistant

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, Full time office based

Contract:

Permanent

Location:

Haslemere, Surrey

Main

Duties

for the Accounts Assistant:

* Verify, code, and process invoices accurately.

* Execute payments through BACS and cheque methods.

* Handle the processing of staff expenses efficiently.

* Establish and maintain supplier accounts, while updating account information as needed.

* Conduct reconciliation of supplier statements and company bank statements.

* Organise and maintain invoice filing systems.

* Supervise petty cash management procedures.

* Perform data entry tasks with

precision

and

attention to detail

.

* Act as the primary point of contact for relevant inquiries.

* Foster and maintain positive relationships with both customers and suppliers.

* Assess and enhance existing systems and processes for greater efficiency.

* Undertake general office administrative duties including telephone management, message taking, filing, and mail handling. This list is not exhaustive and can be expanded upon as needed.

Experience requirement for the Accounts Assistant:

* Previous Accounts/Finance experience

* Exhibit outstanding verbal and written

communication

abilities.

* Work effectively within a

team environment

, fostering

collaboration

and cooperation.

* Display self-discipline and efficiency, coupled with a proactive and adaptable approach.

* Capable of managing tasks within specified timelines.

* Possess exceptional IT proficiencies, including data entry, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

* Demonstrate focused work ethic with meticulous

attention to detail

* Showcase prior experience in a comparable position.

* Effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments.

* Possess strong numerical aptitude.
