We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a UK-based business. This is a remote-first opportunity offering professional growth, meaningful responsibility, and working hours that align with the UK business day, without the challenges of overnight shifts.
What you’ll do:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
- Prepare and support payment runs
- Maintain the purchase ledger and build good relationships with suppliers and internal
- teams
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years’ accounts payable / purchase ledger experience
- Confident with accounting software (such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar) and Excel
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Self-motivated and well organised
