Accounts Payable Coordinator

A healthcare company here in Nashville is hiring an AP Coordinator. The AP Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day functions of the centralized payables department.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and credit memos.

Inputs invoices and credits for payment in a timely manner

Reviews and inputs all expense reports

Review and input credit card transactions

Process payments for check printing

Review and resolve vendor statements, electronic records and invoice discrepancies.

Excellent customer service skills must be used for vendor relations, facility management, andhome officestaff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Some college or businesseducationbeyond high school preferred.

Experience

At least 2 years of accounts payables experience in a health care setting is preferred.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Experience with Great Plains is a plus.

Knowledge of administrative procedures related to accounts payable

Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

Must have strong data-entry and 10-key experience

Specific Requirements

Must be able to handle multiple tasks, manage time, prioritize work, and perform well under pressure.

Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organized and prepare work in an effort to meet deadlines.

Able to work in ateam environment.

Goodproblem solvingskills.

This position does occasionally require overtime.
