Full Job Description

Credit Manager

Manage AR aging and collect accounts within allowable timeframe.

Process Direct billing as required.

Process Group Deposits, cancellations, and attritions billing.

Organize and conduct monthly credit meetings.

Daily billing review with clients.

Attend Pre-cons, communicate billing arrangements, develop solid relationships with Sales teams and clients.

Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Ensure chargebacks and inquiries are responded to in a timely manner.

Monitor and check house accounts daily.

Payroll

Reconcile restaurant and banquet tips daily.

Complete payroll accounts balance sheet reconciliations bi-weekly.

Process Payroll bi-weekly and prepare journal entries.

Check and audit employee’s timekeeping and pay data records.

Provide labor and overtime report to management daily.

Ensure hours and earnings are balance to control documents.

Ensure deductions are properly calculated and recorded.

Resolve and document any errors received pre and post transmission of data in the payroll system.

Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance department team members and corporate team.

Collaborate with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish project/department goals.

Attend staff meetings pertinent to work assignments.

Research and respond to information requests from other departments.

Conduct research, offer solutions and negotiate results to resolve questions and discrepancies; assist with accounts receivable related tasks.

Review, balance, and assist with the audit of prior day’s work; assist with auditing related tasks.

Review, balance, maintain payroll support; assist with payroll related tasks.

Assists with maintaining critical contract lists and schedules.

Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations on property and follow the correct procedures when required.

Qualifications

1-3 years of previous hospitality industry and/or hospitality finance/accounting experience highly preferred.

College degree preferred.

Solid career progressions.

Proficient in Opera, Oracle, MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Experience in UKG, Dayforce preferred, ADP, Ceridian.

Effective time management and organization skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.

Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex analytical topics to a wide audience who may or may not be familiar with analytic…
