About The Position
The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing confidential secretarial and administrative duties involving the exercise of independent judgment for Missouri executives.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate and organize the executive’s activities within the company, the community and professional organizations.
Perform other day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, schedule coordination, preparation of presentations, expense accounts and personnel paperwork, typing, filing and paying departmental bills.
Provide administrative support to leadership and work groups, including supporting department meetings.
Attend key leadership and cross-functional meetings; capture and distribute minutes and action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Assist with business planning and strategy execution by supporting workstreams, tracking updates, and maintaining status of key business priorities.
Prepare and maintain business process documentation to support operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Support project approvals, ensuring capital and budgeting requests are submitted and processed in a timely manner.
Proactively identify and also support opportunities to streamline workflows and improve team coordination.
Organize volunteer, engagement, and development opportunities for the team.
Coordinate activities related to salary and personnel changes and performance appraisal interviews.
Handle internal and external correspondence, distribute mail, make meeting and travel arrangements, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Perform duties of TRIS administrator for applicable department.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Five or more years of high level administrative experience required.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proficiency in keyboarding and software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Proficiency with TRIS, SharePoint and PeopleSoft preferred; Ability to interact effectively with senior management required; Ability to work independently in a confidential manner and take a leadership role in various department activities also required. Compensation Range:
$58,700.00 – $88,100.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
