Responsibilities:
Accounting
Accounts Tasks: Assisting with expenses, bank reconciliation, and preparing monthly journal entries.
Accounts Receivable: Managing outstanding claims, credit notes, and overdue invoices; resolving invoice-related queries with clients.
Payments: Preparing and processing weekly payments.
Invoice Management: Checking freight invoices, processing invoices accurately, and resolving client invoice queries promptly.
Purchasing / Inventory Controller
Inventory Monitoring: Regularly checking stock levels and managing stock location accurately.
Purchase Orders: Creating POs for the Japan head office, managing incoming product entries in D365, and updating inventory data.
Stock Management: Retrieving spare parts, verifying dealer pricing, and managing new location updates.
Logistics Coordination: Overseeing logistics activities and ensuring timely, cost-effective inventory purchasing.
Sales Admin
Customer Service: Handling calls and emails to assist customers and resolve issues.
Order Processing: Processing sales orders and verifying purchase order/invoice matches by number and vendor.
Invoicing: Checking and issuing service invoices.
General Affairs
Supply Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, verifying receipts, and distributing supplies.
Administrative Support: Performing office support tasks as directed by management.
Additional Note: Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fluent in Japanese at a native level
3 years of experience in accounts payable, receivable, and general accounting.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and pursue further education.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in warehousing and trade related industries preferred.
Ability to commute to work by personal vehicle.
