POSITION OVERVIEW

ACCESS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk & IT Special Projects Associate. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who will start with data entry responsibilities and gradually transition into an IT support role. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, and workflow automation while supporting key IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Data Entry & Administrative Support

Accurately input, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets.
Verify and correct data discrepancies while ensuring data integrity.
Organize and manage digital and physical records.
Generate reports and assist in compiling data for business analysis.
Provide administrative support to various teams as needed.

Phase 2: IT Support & Special Projects (Training & Growth into IT Role)

Assist with IT-related tasks, including troubleshooting basic technical issues.
Learn and support Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams).
Support the development of automated workflows using Power Automate.
Assist in data visualization and reporting using Power BI.
Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Microsoft 365.
Work with IT staff to support system upgrades, software implementation, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Research and test new tools to improve business efficiency.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Certification:

High school diploma or associate degree; additional certifications or coursework in IT are a plus.

Experience/ Knowledge preferred (But Not Required):

Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables).
Experience with workflow automation or business process improvement

Skills/ Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Interest in IT, data analysis, and workflow automation.
Willingness to learn new technologies and grow into an IT role.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Growth & Development:

This role is designed for individuals looking to transition from data entry and administrative work into an IT support and process automation role. Training will be provided on Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, and workflow automation to build technical expertise over time.
