In a temporary position under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, District Operations Support (DOS), the Seasonal Clerk will perform a variety of support and clerical functions for the Van Nuys Foothill District. Primarily, Seasonal Clerk will work on timekeeping, onboarding, tracking, and offboarding students participating in paid work experience through the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FCCC).
Seasonal Clerk communicates regularly with VR staff; provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers; ensures the timely completion of assignments. Uses initiative, problem solving skills, organizational skills, good judgment, and resourcefulness. Interacts with consumers and coworkers in a professional manner with integrity and respect.
Must be courteous, tactful, and work cooperatively with others. The Seasonal Clerk shall also maintain consumer information confidentially and always be respectful of others.

Working Conditions
Seasonal Clerks are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. The anticipated time worked will be 30 hours per week. If selected, the employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.
