POSITION: Administrative Director K-12
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
LEAP Social Enterprise is seeking an experienced and innovative Administrative Director K-12
to play a pivotal role in shaping Puerto Rico’s public education system, and to transform
education for our most vulnerable children. As the Administrative Director you will lead our
educational programs, promote academic excellence, and foster the development of global
leaders. In this position you will oversee program administration, development, and student
activities while ensuring alignment with LEAP’s mission and values.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration:
Oversee program administration, including budget management, resource allocation, and
staff supervision.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient program operations
and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive
work environment.
Coordinate program evaluation and assessment activities to measure effectiveness and
identify areas for improvement.
Serve as a liaison between program staff, executive leadership, and external stakeholders
to communicate program goals, achievements, and challenges.
Collaborate with other departments within LEAP Social Enterprise to align program
activities with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in education and integrative
health to inform program planning and decision-making.
Represent LEAP Social Enterprise at meetings, conferences, and events to promote
awareness of the program and build partnerships with community organizations and
educational institutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing
educational programs and services.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate program
accomplishments, outcomes, and impact to stakeholders and funders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the program,
encouraging staff to explore new ideas and approaches to achieve program goals.
Professional Development:
Provide professional development for teachers and school leaders to enhance instructional
practices and leadership skills.
Offer coaching and support to school leaders to ensure high-quality instruction and
student support services.
Lead annual planning for professional development and develop standards and systems
for instructional coaching.
Build cultures and structures to support data-driven practice and continuous
improvement.
School Planning and Improvement:
Support executive directors and school leaders in annual planning and improvement
cycles.
Design processes and tools for setting annual goals and improvement priorities.
Collaborate with site leaders on developing yearly school plans aligned with goals and
action steps.
Design a cadence for data-driven reflection and planning cycles throughout the year.
Performance Management:
Maintain and improve our performance management system for teachers and school
leaders.
Collaborate to design and support performance management systems.
Ensure consistent implementation and ongoing improvement of our comprehensive
teacher rubric.
Curriculum Development and Oversight:
Hire and oversee a team of technical curriculum developers and instructional designers.
Oversee the development of all K-12 academic and curriculum materials, ensuring
alignment with standards and best practices.
Lead the design and development of comprehensive, standards-aligned curricula.
Track quality of all curriculum materials and analyze assessment data to evaluate
effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality learner experience.
Liaise with external stakeholders and represent LEAP Social Enterprise in the
marketplace.
Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the curriculum budget.
Other Duties
Performs any other duties that are within the scope of employment and certifications, as assigned and not otherwise prohibited by law and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Passion for education and a commitment to promoting equitable access to high-quality instruction for all students.
Experience developing and implementing curriculum resources and instructional materials.
Strong knowledge of pedagogical approaches and best practices in education.
Demonstrated ability to analyze student achievement data and use it to inform curriculum and
instructional decisions.• Experience facilitating professional development sessions for educators.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in technology-based productivity tools.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Master’s degree in education or a related field (Doctorate’s degree – preferred).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a leadership role in curriculum development or instructional coaching.
Experience teaching or supporting the implementation of curriculum resources.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and educational technology tools.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month contracted position. Salary, hours and work year
to be determined by the Board in consultation with the Lead Person.

EVALUATION: Twice per year according to state statue and Board policy.
