Job Responsibilities

The Part-Time Post Office Worker is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the campus post office, including sorting mail and (Amazon) package deliveries, processing outgoing mail, coordinating with the local post office, and supervising student workers for package pickups.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High school diploma required. Previous experience in mail service and customer service. Must be able to sort and distribute incoming mail and package deliveries. Ensure accurate and timely processing of outgoing mail using the Pitney Bowes postage meter. Organize and maintain the mail distribution system for faculty, staff, and students. A valid driver’s license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.

Additional Comments

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift and carry mail/packages as needed. Proficiency with postage meters (Pitney Bowes experience is a plus). Effective communication skills for coordinating with the local post office and student workers.
