Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Admin cum Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, purchase order processing, and administrative support for SGT. This role is critical to ensuring smooth cash flow, regulatory compliance (ACRA, IRAS, MOM)
You will work closely with the Managing Director, contracts team, and external accounting firms to maintain accurate books, process payments, and keep operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Order (PO) Management
Create, track, and process all POs from project initiation to completion
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Verify PO quantities, prices, and specifications against project requirements
Maintain PO database with status tracking and delivery confirmation
Reconcile POs with delivery notes, invoices, and payment records
Generate PO reports for project managers and Mr. Tham's team
- Accounting & Finance Collaboration
Work directly with external accounting firms on all financial matters
Provide accurate documentation for GST filings, tax computations, and financial statements
Prepare supporting documents for monthly/quarterly financial reporting
Coordinate with accounting firm for budgeting and forecasting support
Ensure smooth transition of financial data between SGT and accounting partners
Resolve discrepancies between SGT records and accounting firm reports
- Office Administration & Maintenance
Maintain organized office space (physical and digital)
Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate replenishment
Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence (email, mail, phone)
Maintain company records (project files, contracts, certifications)
Support HR functions: onboarding, leave records, CPF submissions
Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM, and workplace safety standards
Coordinate office maintenance and facility management
- Project Support
Issue purchase orders and track delivery status
Verify subcontractor payment claims against progress reports
Archive project financial records (VOs, final accounts, invoices)
Provide ad-hoc data for tender submissions and contract management
