KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Safe delivery of fuel samples to NNR for testing, ensuring packages and connotes are verified before leaving the freight forwarding facility for NNR
- PUDO for staff airport runs, ensuring safety of passengers are adhered to at all times, safety belts are worn before driving off.
- Inspect and maintain the buses and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.
- Reports any defects observed and initiates the periodic servicing as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Responds to emergency call out and shift working duties if required.
- Maintains Logbook for the mileage of the vehicle.
- Exercises safe driving by maintaining speed limits as specified, especially inside the plant area.
- Ensures that driver and passenger seated in front seat, secure themselves with the safety belts.
- Comply with company requirements and systems relating to SAPS, HSEC & Quality and other company policies.
- Undertakes other duties as directed by his supervisor.
Requirements
Experience:
- 4 years driving experience of which at least 2 years in local country.
- Year 10 education
- Valid driver’s license.
Skills:
- Should be strong and capable of lifting at least 20lbs weight.
- Should be able to work extended hours.
