Office Assistant
Dressler Peters, LLC, a well-established and thriving boutique business law firm with offices in Chicago, Missouri, and Indiana, is seeking a dependable and proactive Office Assistant to join our Chicago office. This is an in-office position.
About the Role:
The Office Assistant will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in an office setting, handling clerical duties, scheduling, document management, and office coordination. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
Manage office communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence
Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars
Support attorneys and business professionals with day-to-day office needs
Coordinate office supplies and ensure the workspace remains organized
Assist in preparing and formatting documents using Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Outlook
Maintain accurate records and assist with timekeeping and billing support
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative or office assistant role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
