A small-medium sized family-owned business within the security industry are looking for their next Administration Assistant to join their supportive, fun and tight-knit team based in Penrith.

About The Role

This position is a casual part-time role working approximately 14 hours per week or more if and when required over 2-3 days in the week (one day being a Friday). Hours are flexible and school hours are also an option.

Your New Role Will Include

Answering incoming calls and assisting with any questions or enquiries, forwarding calls through to the relevant person and taking messages as needed

Managing a high volume of incoming emails ensuring all emails are actioned in a professional and timely manner

Booking service and quote callouts

Liaising with technicians, clients and staff

Invoicing and quoting (using Xero software)

Detailed reporting

Data entry

Scanning and filing of reports and paperwork

Any other adhoc administration duties when required

About You

Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Administration Assistant who is able to work 2-3 days per week (one day being a Friday) in the office

(no WFH)

and has the ability to hit the ground running!

This role will suit a professional and friendly person with experience in a similar role.

Our Client Is Looking For The Following Key Skills

A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar Administration role

Experience with the Xero software system is advantageous, but not essential

Proficient and strong Microsoft Office suite and Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)

The ability to work 2-3 days a week (one day being a Friday) until 4 – 4:30 pm preferred but happy to accommodate school hours if required

The ability to make decisions and take initiative

The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Strong time management and organisational skills

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

The ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment

Your own car and license due to the location
