Pre-planning and 6-8 Summer Honors Bridge Course
The program will run four days a week for three weeks from:
Week 1 June 2-5
Week 2 June 9-12
Week 3 June 16-18 (19th Holiday)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Summer Honors Bridge principal will oversee 3 teachers and the students who complete the course.
Administers the Summer Honors Bridge Program
Recruits, interviews, and coordinates supervision of all teachers
Leads registration for all learners
Prepares classes in the online platform
Must be available for support during all sessions
Provides completion data on students who participated in the program to school principals
Plans, supports, and may provide appropriate professional development for staff to ensure that they can assist students enrolled in summer school sessions.
Promotes communication with parents and families.
Supports and implements district policies and procedures, regulations, and administrative directives.
Adheres to the ethical standards and codes of the profession and to the established rules, regulations, and laws governing public education.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Principal or General Administrative Endorsement
