PAY RANGE:$335,000.00 – $387,500.00 ANNUALLY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The EVP – Head of Operations (HOD) reports directly to the Senior Executive Vice President. The HOD oversees and ensures reliable servicing and operations are maintained across the Credit Union, including account transaction processing, loan servicing, account and card servicing, and money movement. The HOD will develop and implement strategies that promote efficiency and deliver exceptional service. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of strategies that limit human interactions within processes and prioritize a digital self-service philosophy for improved financial strength and security. The HOD will collaborate with senior management on enterprise initiatives and standards to ensure alignment with our risk appetite and achieve our Mission and Vision as well as accomplish our strategic goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee and ensure reliable servicing and operations are maintained across the Credit Union, including the account transaction processing for loans, cards and accounts, and vital vendor relationships.
2. Proactively research, develop, and implement strategic initiatives to achieve efficiencies and deliver and exceptional member service.
3. Lead the creation and design of effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes.
4. Remain current on service delivery and technology trends in account, loan, card servicing, and money movement functions to recommend proactive strategies for automation and efficiency while maintaining high levels of service.
5. Collaborate with other departments to drive member service and efficiency initiatives. Lead innovative member support functions focusing on a digital first philosophy while continuously implementing change that improves the member experience.
6. Participate in executive management decision-making and improve operational and service-related efficiencies of the Credit Union and future enhancements to maximize analysis, efficiencies, revenue streams, and the member experience.
7. Be available to make executive decisions as needed for a business that operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
8. Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and organizational goals and business requirements are met and are in line with the priorities of the enterprise.
9. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance related to all areas of oversight.
10. Foster a positive and engaging work environment for each team member by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through your words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale throughout Golden 1, and embracing our mission, vision, and core values.
11. Provide leadership to leaders and staff on technical and administrative matters.
12. Keep abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations, technology, payments, digital services, and other operational trends.
