About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Officer to join our team in Emerald. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Lead, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the site’s administration and accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a leading organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations while providing essential administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate processing of site accounts, including invoice processing and overdue account follow-ups.

Maintain strong supplier relationships and liaise with the central accounts team.

Provide exceptional customer service, performing general reception duties and assisting internal and external stakeholders.

Manage fixed asset register maintenance (fuel cards, spare keys, logbooks, vehicle registrations).

Prepare accurate and timely weekly payroll data.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.

Maintain accurate record-keeping systems to ensure compliance.

Support the Harvest Administration Officer with payroll and seasonal onboarding.

Ensure timely vetting of seasonal workers (direct-hire and labour-hire).

Assist with site audits and reporting.

Create and issue identification cards.

Undertake other administrative duties as required.

Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to OHS&W policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience:

Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).

Experience with SAP or similar systems, with the ability to learn quickly.

Current ‘C’ Class driver’s licence.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to understand stakeholder needs.

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to follow instructions and achieve results.
