Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to join our broad administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service in the coordination of administrative functions across the hospital, primarily in the front office and reception, through to the wards. This will involve but not be limited to providing support and assistance to the administrative and clinical teams as well as patients and relatives, by coordinating the clerical requirements for patients from admission to discharge.
Shifts will range from 3 days up to 5 days per week (dependent on staffing needs at the time). Shifts at Noosa Hospital may also be available periodically as an option for additional hours.
About You
The successful applicant will be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills. It is essential that you have a strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, commitment to customer service and a ‘can do’ approach, and an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality.
You Will Also Bring
- Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with Meditech or similar patient data management system (Desirable)
- Understanding of Health Funds and patient eligibility (desirable)
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and within a team structure
- High level of competency in computer and Microsoft Office skills

Additional Information
