Where you’ll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you’ll be doing
To provide timely and efficient customer service and administrative support to the organisation with regard to registration, admission, discharges and transfer of patients within the Emergency Department.

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail in a busy and demanding environment.
An ability to work as an effective and efficient team member demonstrating initiative, judgement and contributing positively to team operations.
Ability to work autonomously and actively participate within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated computer literacy, data entry skills with the knowledge of Microsoft Office and hospital based information systems (iPM, FirstNet, Cerner, Powerchart.
Ability to work a 24 hour, 7 day rotating roster and accommodate urgent requests for coverage by Team Leader.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality.
