The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer (Clinical Support) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Provide high level administration support to clinical and administration staff

Effectively organise unit meetings/events as required

Provide effective and co-operative communications by responding appropriately to visitor enquiries at reception/within the work area

Assist in the preparation of documentation and processes relating to recruitment and onboarding

About You

To be successful in this position you will require:

While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $76 963 – $85 591 per annum

The Clinical Support Officer supports the delivery of clinical services within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service under the department of Perioperative Services. This department focuses on efficient operations, through best practice, while satisfying legal and safety requirements as well as meeting productivity and efficiency standards across the businesses and facilities of the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
