About This Role
Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Division of Heart, Lung and Critical Care by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support. Working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, you'll help keep services running efficiently while supporting clinicians, leaders and patients.
In This Role, You Will
- Coordinate medical rosters, process HR and payroll documentation, and provide diary and email management support.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, coordinate travel, training sessions and catering arrangements.
- Maintain accurate databases, records and reports while ensuring information is managed with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries from staff, patients and stakeholders while providing flexible administrative support across Executive Services as required.

You're a proactive and organised administrator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys supporting a team to achieve great outcomes.
You'll Bring
- Strong administration and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to build positive working relationships across all levels.
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, databases and meeting documentation.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and electronic administration systems in a professional environment.

Princess Alexandra Hospital:
The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
