Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders into our databases and systems. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in data entry, and a basic understanding of math (especially fractions) to ensure precision in order processing. The Order Entry Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and providing excellent service to our customers.
Duties
Accurately enter customer orders (Custom Windows and Patio Doors) into the order management system.
Maintain and update databases with order information and customer details.
Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Effectively communicate with customers via telephone and email
Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in order entry or a similar administrative role is preferred.
Proficiency in using computerized systems and databases for data entry.
Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills!
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
