Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to support agency operations in the areas of fleet management, procurement, facility issues, and supply inventory.
POSITION DUTIES
Ensure adequate continuous maintenance and repairs of the agency’s fleet vehicles.
Procure supplies, materials, and equipment.
Manage the supply room inventory.
Assist with basic facility issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.
Six months of experience ordering supplies or acquiring goods and services.
Six months of troubleshooting equipment difficulties.
Six months of experience managing shared calendars for scheduling, maintenance coordination, and activity tracking.
Six months of experience with computer tools like Google Applications and Microsoft Suites.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.

Personal Leave – new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date).

Sick Leave – fifteen (15) days of accumulated sick leave per year.
Parental Leave – up to sixty (60) days of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.
Holidays – State employees also celebrate at least twelve (12) holidays per year.
Pension – State employees earn credit towards a retirement pension.
Positions may be eligible for telework.
