We are currently seeking a Contract Administrative Assistant for our Finance department. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department by providing administrative support to our finance team. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Contract Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Developing and maintaining a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
Performing data entry tasks and updating databases regularly with new information as it becomes available.
Creating spreadsheets and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers and supervisors.
Providing general support to visitors and answering incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Liaising with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Strong experience with data entry and administrative duties.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
