Position – Admin & Accounting Specialist
The Admin & Accounting Specialist is part of our small main office team of 5. This position is responsible for the completion of many day-to-day office tasks, most notably timely and accurate payments to vendors and employees, as well as regular recording of frequent financial transactions. This position is a main point of contact at our central office located in Brookfield, WI. The ideal candidate would enjoy being a part of the central hub for cross-company communication, be able to work as part of a team, but also complete tasks independently.
Core Duties:
Managing electronic and paper payments made directly through bank accounts as well as through credit cards.
Entering credit card transactions.
Recording work credits for tenant-employees.
Taking phone calls and directing as needed.
Processing mail.
Processing tenant applications.
Preparing bank deposits.
Managing check supply.
Creating and managing invoices for client chargebacks.
Processing of company payroll.
Additional Duties Include:
Preparing electronic leasing documents.
Involvement in vendor contracts.
Creating lease renewals.
Various and Assorted HR-Type Duties (on-boarding, off-boarding, etc.)
Qualifications:
Previous property management, leasing, and office administration experience REQUIRED.
Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
Attention to detail.
Ability to help manage and edit company website preferred.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Rent Manager or other property management software (Yardi, AppFolio or other) preferred.
Adept at use of and implementation of software and technology.
Ability to set up new devices for employees – laptops, cell phones, etc.
Administrator experience in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to:
Outlook – ability to create new accounts, aliases,
Excel – ability to import/export csv and text files, create pivot tables
Full-Time Benefits:
From $30 per hour.
Monday through Friday work schedule. 9am-5pm.
Paid time off at 6 months and paid holidays at 90 days.
