DESCRIPTION:

We are Third Party Administrators who handle a wide variety of property and casualty insurance programs. We are looking for a detail oriented, self-starter to join our Administrative team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Type and proofread a variety of documents including reports, letters, memos, rough drafts, forms, copy, and notes;

– Perform a wide variety of routine administrative work including filing, billing, checking and recording information on records;

– Compile information and data for statistical and financial reports;

– Ongoing communications with third parties;

– Answer the telephone and wait on the general public, giving information on department policies and procedures as directed;

– Assist in the training of new personnel;

– Review incoming correspondence and properly handle per Company policy;

– Keep track of time spent on different projects and record time daily; and

– Other related duties may also be performed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

– Moderate to excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook).

– Moderate to excellent knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.

– Knowledge of proper English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

– Review and format spreadsheets of varying size and complexity.

– Excellent time management skills.

– Able to communicate effectively via email, phone, and letters.

– Self-starter and able to work independently.

– Able to learn office methods, procedures, and policies with ease and retain the information.

– Attention to detail.

– Computer savvy.

– Work as a team member.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
