Position: Administrative Assistant

Classification: Part-time, non-exempt

Reports to: Superintendent of Catholic Schools

Position Objective

The Administrative Assistant position for the Catholic Schools Office will support the Superintendent, Associate Superintendent, and Director of Athletic Programs. This position is part time averaging 20-25 hours per week.

Essential Duties

Help to set-up and organize professional development sessions, meetings, and other events hosted by the Catholic School Office or Director of Athletic Programs.

Provide bookkeeping/record keeping for the Catholic School Office and the Parochial League.

Coordinate teacher and principal recruiting events.

Manage and schedule appointments for the Superintendent and Associate Superintendent.

Maintain principal/director/parochial league files and general office files.

Provide transcripts and employment verification as requested.

Answer phone calls and make calls for the Superintendent, Associate Superintendent, and Director of Athletic Programs.

Special Projects as directed by Superintendent or Director of Athletic Programs.

Basic Qualifications

3 or more years’ experience in office management

Intermediate to advanced skill level using various computer program applications including:
Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, desktop publishing, Canva, etc.

Proficient bookkeeping/record keeping skills.

College degree is preferred
