As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support our day-to-day administrative operations.
Position Overview
The Office Assistant will play a key role in supporting the managing partner and firm staff by ensuring smooth daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable handling both routine office tasks and executive-level support.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage the managing partner’s email inbox and flag urgent matters
Maintain and update calendars, schedules, and appointment bookings
Assist with organizing and preparing for meetings, including materials and logistics
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages when needed
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Perform light clerical tasks including scanning, filing, and document preparation
Keep office supplies stocked and organized
Provide general administrative support as needed to attorneys and staff
Qualifications
Prior administrative or executive support experience required; legal office experience is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
Work Schedule
Part-Time: 15–25 hours per week
Flexible weekday hours; schedule to be determined with selected candidate
