Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for The Lab Consulting, located in Houston, TX. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks. You’ll play an essential role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Work with office administrators, marketing and HR team on any issues requiring attention for an office of 50+ people
Manage daily administrative tasks, such as, maintaining filing system and admin lists (e.g. vendors, employee contact information, etc.)
Maintain email distribution lists
Monitoring and re-ordering office supplies, receiving and sorting deliveries
Taking meeting minutes, documenting follow-ups, and tracking action items
Supporting HR with basic recruiting and onboarding tasks for new employees
Answering inbound phone calls
Greeting and directing office visitors and vendors
Maintaining office and office equipment, and scheduling service when needed
Ordering office kitchen supplied & water for staff
Meeting and calendar coordination
Interview scheduling
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role (2-10 years of experience is preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent organizational, file-management, time-management and multitasking skills
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Detail-oriented, discreet, and able to exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision
