Experience with Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint,
Experience interacting courteously with others in person and over telephone;
Demonstrate ability to read and follow instructions;
Demonstrate ability to prepare clear, concise and grammatically correct letters/ memos, emails, and
Experience working as a team member
Able to multitask, organize, and prioritize responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an academic department (1.5-2 yrs)
Experience with SAP, PeopleAdmin
Experience with Banner, Slate, degree works, logi reports
Experience with schedules in Courseleaf

Job Description
The Administrative Assistant Ill provides administrative and clerical support to the school director and program coordinators.

Job Duties
Oversee and manage routine operations of the department.
Interact professionally with the Dean’s Office and other high-level offices across the university.
Keep track of due dates for all assignments and projects.
Process paperwork for faculty, staff, and student employee hires. Maintain and review staff and personnel files for completeness.
Review degree audits, answer questions about admission requirements and provide student registration support.
Serve as support to all program directors for graduate or undergraduate admissions.
Prepare and maintain various spreadsheets for student enrollment and retention for the various programs.
Maintain student files for all programs.
Work with Director on scheduling classes and workload assignments.
Monitor department accounts and reconcile expenditures monthly. Monitor transactions of operating budget for department to ensure compliance with university policies.
Compose, type, and proofread a range of documents including correspondence, maintaining database and reports.
Assist in the preparation of various activities and events.
Maintain organization of paper and electronic files per records retention policy.
General office duties: work orders, purchase orders, payments, run errands, fax, copy, prepare outgoing mail and order supplies.
May be asked to provide insight on process improvements and successful outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned
