*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for being the point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands, maintaining financial records, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
*Duties*
– Perform general bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
– Conduct general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
– Assist with corporate accounting tasks and tax preparation
– Handle financial concepts and governmental accounting procedures
– Utilize 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry
– Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff
– Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required
– Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
– Provide general support to visitors
*Skills*
– Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and MS Office products (primarily Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)
– Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting regulations
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
– Previous experience in bookkeeping or related field is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
