Pay- $21.00 per hour

35 Hours/ week (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, M-F)

In-Office Position, this is NOT a remote position.

Paid Company Training and Licensing.

$1000.00 Sign-on bonus (after 6 months employment).

Paid vacation time (2 weeks; after 6 months employment).

Medicare Joe, LLC is a fast growing insurance agency that educates and assists seniors with their Medicare choices. We are licensed in 46 states and guide seniors to the health plan that is suitable to their specific needs.

We’re looking for a reliable administrative assistant that is a detail-oriented, persistent, motivated individual. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the administrative assistant will include engaging with current clients over the phone and assisting the sales team with day-to-day support. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The administrative assistant will help with all customer service related issues to ensure current clients are satisfied with the service we provide.

Responsibilities

Receptionist duties and administrative tasks;

Answer and transfer phone calls;

Communicate with current clients via text, email and phone call.

Actively engage and call out to existing clients;

Maintain office supplies inventory, and assist in placing orders;

Process and distribute incoming mail and packages; collect and drop off outgoing mail;

Document distribution, filing, and scanning;

Leadership support:

Assist the Sales Team with clerical and bookkeeping work;

Assist members of the Executive Team with administrative tasks as needed.

Skills

Proven experience as a customer service rep, office administrator, office assistant/ receptionist or relevant role

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software

Knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs

Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Familiarity within the insurance and financial services sector

Phone Skills- Contacting Existing Clients by phone

Flexibility; willingness to adapt to a dynamic environment
