Administrative Assistant
Mature individual required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast paced working environment at our Mississauga office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages. Take adequate messages when required
Administrative support for management
Chair a daily 15 minute Zoom morning meeting with approximately 30 participants while recording simple notes. Distributing these notes to project managers directly after meeting.
Calendar updating for various appointments, staff vacations
Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, trainings and social events
Assigning and tracking project numbers as required
Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required.
Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
Investigate questionable data.
Other administrative duties as required.
Education and Experience
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of proposal administration is an asset
Quickbooks experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license is an asset
Verbal and written communication skills a must.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must
Requires minimum 2-3 years’ experience
