Job Description

The Operational Resource Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates and manages staffing for the nursing/patient care division.
Ensures staffing, scheduling, and compensation practices support the strategic goals of the organization.
Directs the overall daily staffing and scheduling operations for direct patient care.
Coordinates and manages initial orientation, ongoing education, and professional development opportunities for the Unit Coordinator/Staffing & Productivity Coordinator Team.
Serves as a liaison between campuses to ensure resources are distributed effectively as needs indicate.
In collaboration with Nursing Leadership; evaluates, develops, recommends and implements staffing plans to assure a sufficient number of qualified and competent employees to provide patient care.
Assists in creation of staffing plans as it is related to new units or departments.
Creates real-time reports for Nursing Leadership to trend outcomes and productivity.
Analyzes data and offers recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity as an organization.
Ensures compliance of all policies pertaining to schedules and compensation.
Updates protocols & policies pertaining to schedules and compensation as necessary.
Identifies and escalates issues and concerns using Chain of Command.

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma
Previous business, organizational development, administrative assistant or staffing coordinator experience

Preferred:

Associate’s degree
