Base pay range
$16.50/hr – $19.00/hr
Power-Flo Technologies is looking for a full-time Entry Level Administrative Assistant to join our New Hyde Park location. You will impact the company’s operations and organization through data entry while providing exceptional customer service to our customers, vendors, and visitors. You will work closely with our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales, and Operations departments.

Salary Range: $16.50 – $19/hour
Full-time, on-site role. Monday – Friday.

Opportunities for Growth
Every day you will…
Provide administrative support to the AR, AP, and Sales departments including but not limited to charging credit cards, filing ship tickets, pulling invoices, setting up new vendors, and handling emails.
Enter data for our warehouse and counter sales departments.
Greet visitors and answer the multiline phone system, directing calls appropriately.
Scan and print documents.
Sort and distribute mail to the proper departments, handle all outgoing postage, and track packages.
Make trips to the bank and post office daily.
Other office duties upon request.
What You Bring to the Role
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enjoy learning.
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong basic mathematical skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel (basic knowledge).
Computer savvy and willingness to learn proprietary software.
Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. scanners and printers).
Feel comfortable working on a team.
Valid and clean driver’s license to make trips to the bank and post office daily using the company vehicle.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request).
Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request).
