Feathers Custom Furnishings is a 30-year-old, family owned business located in Scottsdale,
Az. We specialize in creating high-end custom home furnishings, offering an elegant showroom that showcases furniture, accessories and art for our discerning clients. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and personalized service.
Perform general office management tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records. Create and manage purchase orders and invoices
Provide administrative support to team members, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries.
Assist in proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping.
Support customer service efforts by responding to client requests and providing timely assistance.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and workflow within the organization.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency.
Track and coordinate materials for design projects.
Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Provide administrative support to design staff as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar clerical role.
Prior experience in interior design is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitasking effectively.
Proficiency in computer software applications, including QuickBooks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in proofreading tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in customer support is a plus.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
A positive, professional attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Detail-oriented and efficient with strong problem solving skills.
