We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth office functioning. Experience level:
Prefer at least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping
Advanced computer skills
QuickBooks: 2 years (Preferred)
Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
Full job description:
Process weekly payroll and payroll taxes through payroll vender
Prepare and process monthly invoices, receipts, and payments
Preparation of financial statements and reports
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Implement point-of-sale system and be our on-site guru
Benefits administration
Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
Maintain/update excel spreadsheets
Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
Time management skill and sense of urgency for critical time sensitive projects
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Identify inefficient processes and establish/train on new procedures
Reliable
Excellent written and verbal skills
Additionally, there may be other responsibilities based on the unique needs of our business. For example, a bookkeeper may be required to learn a specific accounting software system, point-of-sale system, or participate in certain meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 – $52,000.00 per hour
