Job Summary
An entrepreneurial consulting family is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Personal Assistant to help manage legal, financial, and administrative tasks. This is a part-time, contract position with a flexible schedule and a hybrid work setup (primarily remote with some in-person work in the Pasadena area).
The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, and comfortable managing sensitive documents. This role is a great fit for someone with a background or interest in family law, administrative assistance, or personal finance.
Responsibilities
Maintain and organize digital and physical records and files
Assist with financial recordkeeping, budgeting, and invoice tracking
Sort, file, and manage family legal documents (e.g., court records, contracts)
Support in preparing flyers or documents for personal or family events
Schedule coordination and light administrative support
Communicate clearly and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Occasionally work in-person for tasks requiring physical sorting or sensitive handling
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in personal assistance , administrative support, or legal assistance
(OR currently enrolled in a related degree or certificate program such as Family Law, Legal Studies, or Administrative Support)
Proficient in:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets)
PDF editing tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat or similar)
File-sharing platforms (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive)
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Experience with confidential record handling is essential
Ability to work independently and flexibly
