About Us

ICRF supports the best and brightest scientists conducting groundbreaking cancer research in Israel with the goal to end the suffering caused by cancer. We are the largest non-governmental funder of cancer research in Israel. Our research has been instrumental in the development of breakthrough FDA approved drugs, such as Gleevec, Doxil and Velcade, as well as in treatments related to nano-medicine, immunotherapy, stem cell research and targeted therapies. Since our inception, we have funded over 2800 grants totaling just over $98million. Our research continues across all the leading Israeli institutions. ICRF funded researchers have been awarded 2 Nobel Prizes in Chemistry, 5 Israeli Prizes and 2 Lasker Awards. 

Position Overview:

The focus of this position is to be the lead team member responsible for processing donations as well as the related documentation, acknowledgements and data management within the CRM. In addition, this person will help support the administrative needs of the Executive Director. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

•       Donor gift processing

•       Data entry

•       Donor record management including managing and updating donor information into the CRM / database

•       Generating corresponding donor acknowledgement letters and documentation

•       General admin support including email follow up, scheduling, scanning, etc

•       Event support as needed

•       Other administrative duties and projects as assigned

 

Qualifications/Skills:

•       At least 3 years of related experience

•       Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

•       Significant attention to detail

•       Ability to work well with staff and donors in a professional and positive manner.

•       Ability to work independently, take initiative and assume ownership of projects.

•       Strong technological proficiency required; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required

•       Experience with a fundraising CRM such as DonorPerfect is a plus

What You Should Know

•       This is a full-time in-person position  

•       Occasional evenings may be required to support certain events and meetings.
