OPPORTUNITYThisAdministrative Assistantrole is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about providing support to high-performing team members within our Tax department and throughout the Knoxville office. There will be a strong focus on duties that include scheduling, processing and filing tax returns, billing, preparing documents for scanning, assisting with expense reports for LBMC managers and Shareholders, and occasional front desk relief. This is a full-time hourly position (40 hours/week) which will require increased hours during busy season (50+ hours/week).Busy season runs January- April and September- October each year.SCOPE OF WORK

Daily administrative support (copying, scanning, typing). Maintains a high level of attention to detail in all work

Processes and assembles tax return documents

Preparing invoices for bill managers

Processing of engagement letters and updating of address labels for federal and state tax returns

Coordination of appointments, restaurant reservations, travel arrangements and in-office meals as requested

Preparation and entry of time and expense reporting for management

Assist with maintenance of client/target contact information

Preparation and transmission of Tax Organizers for clients (sent via email & regular mail)

Perform Ad Hoc projects as needed

Adheres to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm’s policy on privacy and client confidentiality. Knows and follows the rules, regulations, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the Tennessee Board of Public Accountancy, and other regulating bodies as appropriate.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

High School Diploma or GED is required, associate degree preferred

3+ years Administrative or Executive Assistant work

Ability to work extended hours and weekends January – April, August – October, and during other peak deadlines as needed
