Job Purpose:

The Administrative Assistant will aid the General Manager, coordinate bi-weekly payroll submissions, monitor team member training, and maintain accounting functions. The incumbent ensures the accuracy and integrity of numbers and documentation and assists management with the operations of the hotel.

Pay Range:

$18.00- $22.00 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

Helping maintain payroll information by collating, calculating, and entering data.
Updating payroll records by entering any changes to team member information or benefits, such as job title changes, exemptions, and saving deductions.
Resolving and maintaining payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries.
Tracking benefits eligibility and completing the enrollment process.
Assigning and monitoring team members’ required training programs.
Maintaining secure and confidential payroll source documents.
Inputting invoices, ensuring they are processed according to standard operating procedures.
Working with the professional services team to review and finalize timely results.
Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Bi-lingual, English and Spanish preferred.
2 or more years of applicable experience preferred.
Good team development and leadership skills.
Computer literacy.
Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
