Job Title:Administrative Assistant
Location:Herndon, VA (this is not a remote position)

Position Overview:Ensuring timely responsiveness to client requests is a key component of this role. The Administrative Assistant manages and coordinates the sales bid process by organizing the preparation of proposals, ensuring both internal and external deadlines are met, and making sure the end product has a polished and professional look. The role also includes assisting with sales and marketing by staying current on industry news and circulating pertinent information, ordering/managing corporate giveaways, scheduling kickoff meetings, and other related duties.
In addition, as this is a small office, the position also includes assisting the Executive Vice President, providing additional support for the Employee Relations department as well as performing the duties of an Office Manager.
FLSA Status and Hours:This is a full-time, salaried position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Time flexibility is required as the demands of the job may require.
Basic Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Skilled user of MS Word and PowerPoint
Well-organized and capable of organizing others
Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
Experience working in a small office a plus
