THE ROLE
We’re seeking a dynamic, self-starting Executive Assistant 2.0 — someone who can keep our CEO organized and productive, while also owning content workflows and building automation using AI tools.
This is a highly interdisciplinary role for someone who is:
Part EA (managing schedules, logistics, meetings)
Part social media editor (helping maintain an online voice and presence)
Part AI-native operator (building automations that boost effectiveness)
You’ll join a small, high-trust, mission-driven team and have exposure to nearly every part of the business.
YOUR IMPACT AREAS
1. Executive & Administrative Support (33%)
Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar with speed and foresight
Coordinate travel, file and reconcile expenses, and streamline logistics
Own meeting prep for recurring business reviews, board planning, and All Hands
Deliver on strategic, confidential projects for the leadership team
Collaborate with the executive team and act as a communication bridge when needed
2. Social Media & Communications Editing (33%)
Brainstorm and video edit posts for the CEO across platforms like LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram
Build and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with strategic moments
Partner with PR and Comms to amplify Grove’s thought leadership and presence
Source and organize content from across the org and web
3. AI-Enabled Workflow Optimization (33%)
Explore and test AI workflows, AI agents, and driving productivity in business environments
Build and manage automations using tools like ChatGPT, Notion AI, Zapier, and Airtable
Set up repeatable systems for reminders, summaries, content tagging, reporting, and more
Research and test new tools to make Grove’s CEO and leadership team more productive
Document what you create and share it to help scale Grove-wide
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU:
Are motivated by sustainability and purpose-driven business

Are AI-fluent or highly motivated to learn about AI-agents and workflow automation
Have 1–4 years of experience in admin, ops, social media, content, or startup work

Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where initiative is rewarded
BONUS POINTS FOR:
Experience with board logistics, earnings coordination, or All Hands events
Past writing for execs or managing social media accounts
Familiarity with low-code tools (Zapier, Airtable, Notion, Slack integrations)
Light design or content editing skills (e.g., Canva, Capcut, Figma)
Bay Area or Seattle-based

COMPENSATION
$60,000-80,000. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive target and equity.
