Full Job Description
We are a supplier of kitting, packaging and assembly to the automotive industry.
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant/Accounting Assistant to support multiple departments and support our growing company.
This position is a full-time, hourly position and reports to the Materials Manager.
Position Summary:Responsible to perform a full range of administrative support. Maintain discipline and safety within the facility.
Responsibilities:Include, but not be limited to:
Purchasing/Materials Support
Entering PO’s and sending to suppliers
Send weekly forecast to suppliers
Send monthly supplier on-time delivery reports
Send past due and open order reports
Weekly inventory reports to customers upon request
Place PO’s for MRO, PPE based on Material Managers recommendations
Checking supplier acknowledgments for pricing discrepancies and shipment dates to make sure they meet requirements
Logging freight invoices
Answering phone and announcing deliveries or pick-ups with truck drivers
NAFTA USMCA, Proposition 65, Conflict Minerals, and other customer tracking requirements
Reman Support
Run weekly reports
Enter shipments as needed
Warranty Clutch Support
Receipts into database
Create shipments as needed
Accounting Support
Matching packing slips with invoices
Processing checks
Other duties as assigned
Promote and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Required Skills:
Self-starter
Excellent communication and organization skills
Effective in the practice of time management
Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently or in a team environment
Education Level:High School Diploma/GED
Diploma
Applicable Certifications
Experience:
5+ years in current or similar field
SAGE ERP experience is a plus
Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
