The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant operates multi-line telephone system and directs callers to appropriate personnel. Greets all visitors, determines their needs and directs them to appropriate personnel/office. Assists management with special projects as assigned.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that front office is clean and organized.
Answers all incoming phone calls and takes messages appropriately.
Distributes faxes upon receipt.
Sorts mail in a timely and efficient manner and distributes it to the appropriate in-boxes.
Communicates any front office concerns to manager.
Facilitates correspondence deliveries and pick-ups as necessary.
At the direction of manager assists office personnel with administrative duties, light accounting duties, and other special projects.
Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs and directs them to the proper person and/or office.

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum one (1) year office related experience and/or training.
Knowledge of business letter formats and composition.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Meticulous attention to details and accuracy..
Strong interpersonal skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time and use hands to handle office equipment, paper reports, etc. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. May occasionally be required to lift up to 25 pounds a distance of 30 feet as needed. Must be able to move freely throughout the location, including moving up and down stairs. Must be able to sit for up to 95% of the work day.
